A peculiar green sample of a cathinone mixture has been found coming from Trieste (Italy). Although at first glance can look like plant matter, it is a green crystalline mixture containing MEC isomer, Methylone, Pentedrone, Dimethylone, Ethylone, NEP and MDMA. With a mixture that complex no safe dose can be established, and we strongly discourage from consuming it. Although colour and looks are rarely a quality indicator, a green synthetic stimulant should raise only one reaction – do not ingest!
Methamphetamine is being found sold as 3-MMC and MDMA. While commonly missold in Asia and the US, interestingly in Europe meth has more of a reputation of substance you seek on purpose. Nonetheless, with high scale production of methamphetamine in Central Europe, it is perhaps not surprising to see meth missold as serotonergic stimulants on the old continent as well. This finding contributes to other results indicating how drug market is desperately searching for a Mephedrone replacement, without much luck. We continue to warn all people who use drugs – the availability of 3-MMC and 4-MMC appears to be at an all time low.
